Beginning in January, Maletta Pfeiffer and Associates has improved their business by moving to earth-friendly cleaning supplies. Owner Dan Albanese says the change was prompted by increased patient concern for the environment, and makes financial sense in both the short and long-term.  "Converting over to green cleaning has been surprisingly cost effective," Albanese said. "With high priced commercial, chemical based products, along with the long term health and environmental concerns that accompany them, it just makes business sense to reduce the use of these synthetic chemicals."

Avoiding phosphates, chlorine, artificial fragrances, and artificial colors to clean treatment tables and launder towels has proven to be economically and environmentally beneficial. In theme with Maletta Pfeiffer and Associates' eco-friendly business practices, the therapy office has also converted their traditional logoed and reusable water bottle to a biodegradable, environmentally safe one.
